When the same old trick doesn't work

My name is Ratana, I was obese, but I lost 40kg after realizing that common sense isn't such a thing anymore. Hi, Dr. Berg and the team! My name is Kewen (my Chinese name), but I'm 100% Cambodian. I was grown up in the capital city, and I did love that typical diet that every kids do, such as sweets, candy, soda, junk food (basically all the carbs you can count). Guess what?! I was overweight, a below-average health condition in my entire life (not after 2015 just like the first photo that I do attach with). Maybe, just maybe this is in my gen because all members of my family are all overweight with no exception. So I gave up to change a thing about wellness/healthcare since I tried literately everything from doing more exercise, eating 6-7 meals per day, a low-fat low protein diet, .... and more (basically almost every method I could find on the internet). However, the year 2016 was a miracle year for me. You know what? I decided to go beyond conventional wisdom on health for once. I did start fasting since that was a thing that I hadn't tried yet. First, I started skipping breakfast, and I felt so dizzy and doubted everything about it. Then, I accidentally hit 18h without feeling hungry at all. This is where the magic started. To know fasting is a thing that can benefit from, I kept doing research deeper and deeper about fasting since I worried if I didn't enough nutrition, such as like if I'm getting dumber and dumber when fast long enough to starve my brain, like reading blogs, watching Youtube, and surprise!! Here's come, my hero, Dr. Berg Youtube Channel (I found him in 2017). Keto was another new thing after IF that I thought it was absurd that eating all that much fat and still lose weight. It took me a few weeks to start trying this new thing, called Keto. And then, everything started getting easier and easier, even effortless to fast up to 3 days. I lost almost 40kg in just 2 years with KETO + IF alone (96kg in 2016- 58kg in 2018). In 2019, I decided to introduce back a little bit more carbs to maintain/gain some weight back since I was so skinny, lol. In 2020, I decided to keep up it with more Dr. Berg advice like working around my stress level, getting enough sleep, doing the right exercise at the right time, and still learning more things about our human body from Dr. Berg video every single day for almost 5 years straight already. Last, I feel I am the luckiest man alive on Earth to have a chance to look at the world in a new way through optimizing our health, and the credit? All goes to Dr. Berg. He demonstrates us the real data! He shares us the real experience! and He shows us the real solution! Trust me, it's not the same old trick to experience my current awesomeness feeling with my body at its peak! Thank you so much, Dr. Berg and my team.
