Salam/ Peace be unto all! My Intro: My name is Mohammad Ali, I am 45 years of age and I am from Karachi, Pakistan and currently a resident of Dubai, UAE. How I met Dr. Berg: I, for all the good reasons stumbled upon Dr. Erig Berg page on Youtube. What inspired me to continue to watch him was primarily his personality, his clear voice, beautiful accent and the sense of humor. This lead me to believe that whatever he is saying must be true, a man like him could not be falsifying and with a little bit of my own understanding that his content made sense. Health before keto: I had many problems, I mean literally many problems. Overweight, low on energy, premature aging, restless leg syndrome, diabetes, irritability, loss of focus and attention and they all contributed towards making me not a happy person as I would've liked to be. Diet before keto: A traditional Pakistani food comprises of lots of rice, naan & chapati (traditional types of bread), bread. No food is a food or enjoyable unless it is accompanied by these killers. I had 3 meals a day, countless naan/ chapati with lots of snacking in between. It wouldn't be exaggeration if I said I was a monster eater, I had so much capacity to intake food, only few people could beat me at eating larger quantities. Keto begins and benefits follow: I started Keto approx. 3 years ago. There is a list of 23 benefits that Dr. Berg has on Keto and Intermittent fasting, I have achieved not less than 19 benefits with absolute success. I was over 235lbs and am now 180. I have amazing energy, stamina, strength, endurance. I am presumed to be 10 years younger than I originally, before people thought I was 7-10 years older than I actually was. My DIABETES is completely reversed, I really mean that! All my conditions that I have mentioned above have gone, like really GONE. Diet now: I have been on OMAD for the past 2 years. I have got a total control over my body and my routine, since I am not at an expert level of managing my body, I can make exceptions here and there sometimes as I know I can always switch back to ketosis. At around 7pm, I take my green juice between 750-850 gms. My green juice is a blend of Spinach or Kale, Celery, Parsley, Cabbage, Capsicum, 2 big lemons, Avocado, Garlic, Ginger, Apple Cider Vinegar, Sea Salt, Nutritional Yeast (1tbp) and Cucumber. I would drink that and then eat almonds and walnuts with butter. After two hours I would take half chicken (Grilled) with 2 cups of salad, humus and garlic mayonnaise. 1 cup of milk tea with stevia powder. I don't drink tea or anything during the day. Exercise: I would do full body compound weight training 2x a week with sprinting HIIT sessions same days. Sleeping: This is the only issue I haven't been able to fully address, I try to sleep at least 6-7 hours. But, lose track often. My mistakes; I haven't made any mistakes, I have tried my best to follow Dr. Berg to the letter. He has published so much content on health, that there is nothing that might slip through the cracks. Dr. Berg is my family physician now. Any health related issue I come across or hear someone complaining about, I immediately type the key words on youtube channel of Dr. Berg and 100 out of 100 times I find ample videos touching the subject. I have referred Dr. Berg to each and every person that comes in my contact. I am happy to say I am Dr. Berg's greatest ambassador in my world when it comes to health. So many people in my family and circle have benefited from his honest advice. I don't really have the right words that could express the gratitude and honor that I hold for Dr. Berg. Three pieces of advice: Watch Dr. Berg carefully, watch him again, once you think you've watched enough, watch it again. This simple practice has gotten me to where I am today. Only watching him, over and over, especially the subjects that I was struggling with. In the end, I would pray for the wellbeing of Dr. Berg and his family, and I pray to our Lord to grant him more knowledge and information and enable him to help the sick heal through his advice.
