I guess like many of you, I did a lot of sitting around during the Covid lockdowns. The next thing I know, my employer is saying we need to start preparing to return to work and I started to worry about my business casual not fitting so well anymore. I'm not quite sure how I came to learn of Dr. Berg, but boy am I glad I did. Once I started watching Dr. Berg's videos, it really became a habit. I had done other low/no carb diets before, but this was different somehow. I think Dr. Berg gave me some ideas to focus on. Also, in the past, I had done intermittent fasting because of Joe Rogan's youtube channel. That is where I first became aware of intermittent fasting. But I never combined these two things. I never really thought about combining. these two techniques, but when I did the results were really exceptional. In 3 weeks' time, I have been able to lose 13 pounds. More than that, I am never hungry. When I started looking into The Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) Calculators, I learned that I am still way overweight. The TDEE site says my ideal weight is 153 lbs on the heavy side. Years ago when I lived in Rome, Italy, I would go down to the Pharmacia and there was a scale there that said the same thing. I thought that was crazy. Now I can really see myself weighing that much. A big thanks to Dr. Berg. Thanks for doubling down against the misinformation that is being distributed to so many Americans in the name of the business and financial gain by so many corporations. Unfortunately, when I started this whole thing I didn't take a before picture. I guess I assumed it wouldn't work, as most of these diets in the past haven't.
