Since doing OMAD, it's been EASIER to eat larger amounts of salad & vegetables. Cravings for junk food & bad carbs have decreased dramatically. By the time that it’s time to eat the salads, I avoided have become more appealing. I assume it’s because my body is asking for all the fiber and nutrients instead of sugar. I sprinkle one tablespoon of Chia seeds and one tablespoon of Nutritional Yeast on my salads and use the gravy from my protein as salad dressing so I don’t spend any extra money on expensive salad dressings since I’m doing organic on my protein and vegetables already. Even my need for dessert is decreasing, but when I do feel cravings for sugar I eat a tablespoon of organic peanut butter with celery OR less than 1/2 a cup mixture of heavy cream, cream cheese, Nutritional Yeast, and Chia seeds with a pinch of Xylitol. I drink 1 cup of coffee with heavy cream and a bit of xylitol in the morning. 16 oz serving of ACV with lemon juice (fresh organic lemon) water with a bit of Himalayan sea salt and water infused with lemon slices the rest of the day. Every day, I get hungry later and later. So far I have gone from 148 to 140. I am 5’4” and consistently lose about 0.4 oz every day. I have more energy, my moods are getting better and without exercise I find my leg muscles hurt less when I walk up to my stairs. I have learned sooooo much from your videos. It's easier to stick with IF and Keto because I know EXACTLY what the good and bad foods do to my body and how the hormones (insulin) work when I ingest either. I believe this is the secret to your success and popularity. You have the best most comprehensive Nutrition 101 videos I have ever watched. For people who like to ‘understand’ why and not “just be told” what to do such as myself, your method of education is very effective. Thank you, thank you so much, Dr. Berg!
