my unbelievable success story
By: Niranjan Bhasu
"For approximately 28 years, I have been taking medication to manage my blood pressure, and for the past eight years, I have been taking medication for cholesterol and diabetes. I frequently experienced stomach gas, which led me to take medicine in the morning and evening.
I followed the recommendations of various doctors regarding which medications to take, when to take them, and when to discontinue their use. One day, a doctor treating my diabetes suggested that I take insulin if the four medications I was taking in the morning and evening failed to work. This suggestion made me quite anxious.
I decided to take control of my situation by trying to eat less food and fasting for 12-13 hours. However, I continued to snack and eat frequently without knowing what to eat or what to avoid. To seek guidance, I turned to YouTube and Google. Initially, I followed the advice of an Indian doctor, but I did not see any significant changes.
In January 2022, I came across Dr. Eric Berg's YouTube channel and live programs. His content provided me with a wealth of knowledge, which prompted me to change my lifestyle and eating habits. I made significant adjustments to my diet based on my research and Dr. Berg's advice." I made the following main changes;
1) Go on a low-carb/keto diet
2) What do I eat I eat only 2 times a day
3) No snacking / No frequent eating
4) Get 7-8 hours of sound sleep
5) Stay in the morning sun for about 1 hour
6) Walk for 40 – 60 minutes – every day
7) Did 30 minutes of aerobic exercise - every day
8) Did gym for 20-30 minutes – on an alternate day
9) After fasting for 16 hours, I did it for 18 hours and now I am fasting for 20 hours.
10) I understood that ghee, and butter (saturated fat) is an essential elements for life.
11) The enemy of life is a lot of carbs, flour, vegetable oil, sugar, junk food (foods packed in factories) (Trans Fat), Insomnia, anxiety, and laziness.
Current situation
1) Cholesterol 10 mg medicine left - February 2022 (Atorvastatin 10 mg)
2) Quit all diabetes medicines - March 2022
3) Quit blood thinners - July 2022 (Losartan Potassium-50 mg)
4) Reduce blood pressure by taking Amlodipine 5 mg only. - From (Amlodipine 5 mg + Losartan Potassium 50 mg- every morning).
5) Quitting all gastritis medicines - January 2022
6) Weight reduced from 80 kg to 62 kg (lose 18 Kg)
7) BMI 22.2 (previously 27.8) 8) Body Fat dropped to 15.8% Over the past year, I have devoted significant time and effort to my health journey.
Through conducting personal research, reviewing published studies from around the world (including those not yet approved by the FDA), and analyzing data, I have made progress in educating myself about the relationship between food, disease, and overall wellness. However, I have come to believe that certain aspects of the healthcare industry prioritize profit over patient care. In my opinion, some doctors and drug companies prescribe medications as a means of maintaining patients' dependence on drugs, rather than addressing the underlying health issues.
The pharmaceutical industry profits from selling drugs to doctors and patients, while doctors may earn commissions on prescriptions. This system perpetuates a cycle of medication dependence, even if patients are not actually cured of their illnesses. In addition, many medications have harmful side effects that can lead to the need for additional medications, further perpetuating the cycle of reliance.
Merely adhering to FDA guidelines is not enough to completely eliminate the disease. Pharmaceutical companies invest significant resources into research, but their primary focus is on maximizing profits rather than addressing the root causes of illness. It is my belief that, to date, no government has conducted research that can rival the work of private pharmaceutical companies. These companies conduct their own research and gain FDA approval for their products, often prioritizing their own financial interests over the well-being of patients.
