Jennifer|My journey
By: Jennifer
I owe my life to Dr. Berg. I truly do. I was in a bad spot. I had gastric sleeve surgery in 2017. Weight loss stopped shortly after. I still had 60lbs plus to lose to hit my healthy goal. I tried multiple things. I always gave up. I was a bad diabetic. Even after my weight loss surgery. For my A1C to run 10 or 11 was the norm for me. I was on antidepressants. I was in a bad bad spot in my life. I stumbled on Dr. Berg on YouTube one night and started binge-watching him. I learned about this thing called insulin resistance. Which, I had never heard about because this was something my docs NEVER talked about or even tried to treat. I was shocked. Everything he said was what I was going through. My body felt all of it. Because of Dr. Berg, I started making small changes to healthy keto. I started adding healthy supplements that my body needed. I stuck with it. I noticed my sugars still ran high but not as high as they used to. So I kept going. My A1C started dropping! Mind you, I was on 3 different daily shots PLUS pills for my diabetes. I was able to slowly start dropping these meds and shots!! I made more and more eating changes. I started intermittent fasting for 12 hrs. Worked my way up to 16. Now I fast daily for 18 hrs and am full on healthy keto. I take my healthier cleaner supplements and nutritional yeast daily. I’ll be 41 this month and my body has NEVER been this healthy and has never felt any better!! I eat to supply my body with what it needs now instead of eating for fun. I am completely off my sugar meds and shots. And!! I’m off my antidepressants. I feel incredible. I owe so much to Dr Berg. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!!!
