Menopause, concussion recovery
By: Ansie Swanepoel
For 10 years, I have been struggling. After a kayak accident, I had to learn to walk again. The weight gain began to make me feel helpless because I could not do enough exercise with my hurting body to lose weight. I don’t eat much anyway but my weight increased as my mood decreased. Then I slipped on ice and fell with a bad concussion, vertigo, and memory loss as a result. I felt brain fog and even more fatigue. I felt desperate. Then I found Dr. Berg on YouTube. I just started by consciously fasting - it wasn’t hard because I already didn’t eat much. But I understood nothing of the biological effects. Dr. Berg’s easy explanations made me feel hopeful again - I gave it one week. I decided if I do this and feel better in 1 week I will continue. Within 3 days the vertigo was gone, the brainfog disappeared and I felt more energetic!! I lost 2 kg in the first week. I started listening to more videos to try and understand the whole picture. I lost another 2 kg the next week. I feel so much better - i can actually sleep 7 hours! My mood improved so much that I feel like enjoying sex again , and do tasks I usually would rather procrastinate on. My entire existence is starting to change. I am now aiming to do my fist 48 hour fast . I am still learning a lot and just want to sincerely thank dr Berg for his dedication in helping people like me , who can’t afford other ways !
