I begin my search for help at 260 lbs. At 58 years old, I had hypertension, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, insulin resistance and vitamin D deficiency.

I had lost weight several times before by using the old "eat 5 small, balanced (protein, carbs, and fat) meals, never going more than 3 hours between eating. All the "experts" said this would keep my insulin levels steady. However, this time I couldn't seem to get any of my weight off. My motivation this time was not just that I felt miserable, my wife and I are traveling to Bavaria in September, and I knew I'd never be able to hike all the places we planned on seeing. Then, I found Dr. Berg on YouTube! I've lost 45 lbs. in three months. My intermittent schedule is 12:30 and 4:30 pm.

I now eat a large bowl of baby spinach at the beginning of each supper, and have limited my carbs to less than 20 grams a day. For comparison, I'm eating around 500-700 calories a day more than the "balanced" diet I relied on in the past, but now the weight is just falling off. I"m never hungry. In fact, sometimes I lose track of time and have to remind myself to eat. My systolic blood pressure is now 120, my cholesterol is normal, as well as my A1C.

I also not only eliminated my sleep apnea, my wife tells me I no longer snore! Discovering Dr. Berg has been a life changer!!! The pictures were taken exactly 3 months apart, and I am wearing the same shirt in both photos.
