Dr. Eric Berg, Hello my name is Vince Pokorny. I'm a husband and father of 4 kids. I do construction for a living. I'm a Union Sheetmetal Worker from Los Angeles. I saw one of your videos on YouTube about a year and a half ago. I found it very interesting. From there I spent weeks researching this lifestyle from your videos. On January 1st of 2018. I started the ketogenic lifestyle. Prior to this I was a heavy, heavy beer drinker and doing the standard American diet. At my heaviest, I was 197 lbs @ 5'6" tall and suffering from Inflammation as you can see in the picture I provided. I have a strenuous job and 4 kids. Low energy all the time. I just felt like sleeping all weekend. In a bad mood most of the time too. If I calculated it correctly my BMI was 27. Not quite obese but definitely overweight. My doctor advised me that my blood pressure was through the roof. I was tired of feeling like this. So I got started. I quit drinking completely. How I don't know I was addicted it was like a switch turned off in me. I just didn't want to drink anymore. I wanted to be a healthy husband and father. 90 days in I started to notice some changes. I started to feel better. My water weight had gone. Once I saw these results that were it. I got addicted and obsessed with this whole Ketogenic lifestyle and Intermittent fasting. It all made perfect sense to me as to why I could never stick to dieting before and always felt hungry from starving myself. Not this time. I learned I can eat food that I love. Also not worry about restricting my calories. I eat till I am full. I used the carb manager app for the first 90 days to see what meals should look like. I stick to grass-fed meat and went Organic. Kale and spinach being my go-to veggies. I make kale drinks just like on your videos. Thanks 4 sharing. I traded in my Craft IPA beers and started drinking San Pellegrino sparkling mineral water. Thats my brand. I love it. Its in almost all my Instagram photos and videos. I have it with me everywhere I go. The fat kept melting off and the weight decreased. I did this for one whole year from jan 2018 to jan 2019. I remember you saying in one of your videos. ""You get healthy first, then you lose the weight"". I figured its been a year iam healthy now. My wife got me a gym membership. Iam working out and running again. Endless amounts of energy. Over the year I learned to fine tune my ketogenic lifestyle and mastered Intermittent fasting. I do a 60hr fast every 4months. I started 16/8, 18/6, until I was able to go OMAD. Which is most days now.I might have a cup of organic bone broth at lunchtime. Imagine the looks I get. The only one with a cup of bone broth for lunch. If that, most times I fast and just have my San Pellegrino. When everyone else is gorging on fast food. Just got my physical results back from my doctor. New BMI 23, blood pressure back to normal. I forget what my HDL and LDL cholesterol were. Dr said the low one is low and the high one is very high. If that make sense. My total cholesterol was at 198. 200 I think she said is a optimal range. She also said keep doing what iam doing. My new weight is 147 lbs. Trying to get some lean muscle gains. I would like to walk around at 155/160 shredded. My family and I cannot thank you enough for sharing this knowledge. I would of never been able to do it without you. Thank you, Vince Pokorny "
