Intermittent fasting and the Keto diet worked.

Hi Dr. Berg, I am 62 yrs old and have tried to diet and exercise in the past but I would always hit a plateau at 10 to 12 lbs. lost. I stumbled on your channel on YouTube as a video on insulin caught my eye. I wasn't looking for anything on dieting at the time. Your video made a lot of sense. I was feeling the way you described the insulin spikes. After watching more of your videos, I decided to give it a try. I am 5'10"' and weighed 224lbs. I have a sedentary job where I sit for hours in front of a computer. As a former college athlete, I was disappointed in the way I felt and looked. I started in May 2021, and by the end of July, I reached my goal of 184lbs. I lost 40lbs and was fairly close to what I weighed when I left college at 180lbs. More importantly, I felt so much better. The inflammation in my body had diminished as well as my stomach pains. I didn't think it was that difficult and was greatly encouraged when I saw the results each week. It is a welcome lifestyle for me now and don't miss the carbs or sweets I have craved in the past. Thank you for your videos and advice. You have been a Godsent for me.
