I enjoyed my keto diet and recovered my so underlying issues

I was overweight after my second pregnancy in 2015. I tried to lose my postpartum weight but all failed then I was diagnosed with hypothyroid in January 2017. Since then, I was trying so many diets, started cardio for while at home, joined a gym for a couple of months. But I couldn't see the result, not even a single inch (cms). Over time because of my thyroid, I had irregular periods which got worse. The doctor confirmed I had PCOS. Mood swings, skin itches, hair fall, and irritability all the time. Eventually, it was impacting my family life as well.

I was skeptical to start keto. I was aware of this magic keto diet but never gave a thought to try as it seemed difficult to me to cook for family separately and cook separately for myself. I wanted to give myself one last chance at least for a month to try. I watched each video of Dr. Berg I found for all my health issues hypothyroid is not a problem the root cause for my thyroid and PCOS is fatty liver and IR. And another big reason I found being a vegetarian, I was lacking in my daily protein.

I went to a chemist and bought plant protein for myself. I started strict keto on 22 Feb 2021, the first week, I lost 2 kg WHICH I never had experienced. It was a big thing for me and I got motivated to do it for another 3 weeks. I started seeing results in my stalled weight slowly moving up and down, got more confidence, and continued my journey and within 4 months I lost 9 kg from 65kg to 56kg.

I got blood work done my fatty liver got recovered, skin pigmentation cleared, my periods got regular, my thyroid got better and my IR sensitivity got better. For me, not just number on scale got down but it recovered my so many underlying issues which I never knew I had it. And now Im big keto lover girl. Thanks to Dr Berg for guiding us in right way otherwise social media is just full of people who just want more views and money.
