"I started keto July 2, 2018. My starting weight was 221 pounds. My current weight is 195 pounds. It feels wonderful losing inches and getting smaller. Before I started my journey I listened to Dr. Eric. Berg teaches in his YouTube videos about how we have to heal our body first and the weight will come off after. It is a slow process because I was diagnosed with pre diabetes and metabolic syndrome. My body was feeling bad!! I feel so much better with the keto way of eating! It is nice to see posts on our group because it is so encouraging to see people’s success!! Thank you Dr Berg! I also listened to Dr Jason Fung, and Dr Ken Berry. Suzanne Ryan has written Simply Keto . It is a wonderful book with recipes she used during her keto journey. She lost 120 pounds!! She really inspired me too! I’m 61 years old. I’m hoping to feel like I’m in my early 50’s when I get to my goal! I want to be able to be active with my 4 grandkids .Thank you everyone who has shared before and after pictures because we are all here to help one another to better health! "
