I lost 40 pounds in two months easily by listening to Dr. Eric Berg and following what he recommends.

I retired from construction work 5 years ago and quickly gained 10 lbs. due to less activity and more time to eat and drink. 3 years ago I broke my leg and gained another 10 lbs. Last year Covid hit and I gained another 10 lbs. I was disgusted in myself being unable to lose weight even though I followed low calorie and low-fat diets I used in the past that did seem to work for a while. I am 67 and weighed in originally at 224 lbs. My local gym held an 8 week "Shape Up" class where I would be weighed in weekly and would do a one hour workout session twice a week, Being accountable was one factor that worked for me in the past. I joined the class and started following the low-calorie and low-fat diet they were pushing. In 2 weeks I lost a few pounds. The real weight loss came when I met a wonderful woman while walking the track there that recommended I listen to Dr. Berg and just follow exactly what he says. I love the food that I'm allowed on a keto diet and the fasting came so easy for me. I lost 40 lbs in 2 months. I was on high blood pressure medication, two different high cholesterol medications, and acid blockers when I started the diet. I'm off of all medications and I feel great. I do take my blood pressure almost daily and it's perfect. I stopped taking the statins. I don't need the acid blockers any more. It's been 5 months since I started Keto and IF and am currently down about 50 lbs. I'm happy with my weight now, but will stay on this way of life because it is so easy to follow.
