I feel better, so lighter, so refreshed, and so energetic with keto!

Hi everyone. I'm finally sharing my keto results: Starting weight: 70 kg and Current weight: 52.7 kg

The pic on left was taken in December 2020, when I was totally naive about what the keto diet actually is, how it works, whether it's as effective as people say. I used to be mostly a lazy lounger back then who started to develop knee and calf muscle pain, even when walking and standing up for a little while. This scared the hell out of me, because we genetically have arthritis in our family, and this is the last thing I want to develop in my body.

Finally, one day or I must say, one lucky day, my sister's friend Somali Bhattacharyya, another fellow keto dieter in this group, talked to us (me and my sister) into doing the keto diet and water fasting. We decided to follow this diet together and share our results with each other regularly. Dr. Berg's advice and videos have been really helpful for us. And this is what I followed during the last 6 months: Normally, I did OMAD+keto, but some days, I did water fasting as well. I tried to follow prolonged water fasting, like 7 days or so, but always ended up starving after fasting only for 1 day. So I could only follow an alternate day water fasting plan, which worked well for me so far. My water fasting plan involves ACV in the morning on an empty stomach, Half an hour later, black coffee, In the afternoon, either green tea or some other herbal tea or cream coffee. Sometimes I drink lemon water as well, depending on my mood.

Recently, I started to include electrolytes and greens powder as well. Generally, I start taking sips of electrolytes in the afternoon. In the evening, I have one more coffee or tea. I take the greens powder at dinner time since it satisfies my hunger and keeps me full. However, most of the days, when I decide to eat, I have a heaped teaspoon of peanut butter (cause I'm an addict) with my afternoon coffee or sometimes keto bread + peanut butter+coffee. Finally, I have a full meal at the dinner time. Those days I try to follow 16:8 IF + keto. And I've been mostly following this plan for the last 6 months (approx). Along with that, I did moderate-level yoga exercises, but not regularly. Also, I had some cheat days as well. Here, the result is in front of you guys. I've never imagined I'll see my weight scale go below 60 or so. The first time I saw my weight as 59, I was on cloud nine. I've never felt so better, so lighter, so refreshing, so energetic ever in my life.

I'm so grateful to keto, Dr. Berg and mostly Somali, who inspired me and my sister to follow this diet. Had it not been for her, and her helpful suggestions, we would have never got the courage to even begin this diet. I wish her all the best so she can achieve her goal faster as well.
