How fluoride negatively affects the face
By: Emily Kneipp
Hi, Dr. Berg's team! I am 38 years old, and thoughout my 30s I have dealt with heightened auto-immune rosacea & adult onset acne. While switching to a carnivorous way of life over 2 years ago (for new actual bodily health issues that did resolve & reverse) has been the best constant for keeping the inflammation and break outs under control, your video about how toothpaste is terrible for acne made some more things click for me. Especially during this whole era of muzzle mandates in disgustingly humid Louisiana. So, while I currently only rent my home, I have found that, with decreasing the amount of time my skin is exposed to the tap water in the shower or at the sink, the tendency for redness and cystic activity has greatly decreased. (My dermatologist had me on metronidazole, but the muzzling completely changed the chemistry of my face, as in, it aggravated my pores. YouTube rabbit holes thankfully put me on to a Korean beauty product of 92% snail secretions, which keeps my face protected from not only the pathogens, allergens, and other environmental elements, but also my own bacteria from my nose & mouth that gets trapped by the face diaper. No amount of nasal saline rinses and oral hygiene gets rid of all harmful bacteria, as you know, lol).
