My name is Jack Chidiac. I am 50 years old, and I am from Calgary, Alberta Canada. I discovered the Keto diet when I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes on February 6, 2021. In the past, my weight went up and down before I went on Keto Diet. My diet was 25% carbohydrates and low fats diet.

I started the Keto diet on February 6, 2021, after I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. In 4 months, I have lost 90 pounds and reversed Type 2 diabetes with an A1C of 5.5% from 9.4%. It is a great feeling being a nondiabetic and having a second chance in life. I am on one meal a day and on a 23-hours of fasting, and I enjoy eating just dinner, and eating once a day gives me more energy and strength in my life.

Fasting gave me 100% energy to complete my daily exercise and I will continue fasting and keto diet for the rest of my life. I never made a mistake on the Keto diet, because I am 100% committed to my new lifestyle. I have been on the Keto diet for almost a year and I have lost 125 pounds and I need 85 pounds to hit my target weight of 180 pounds and I will nail it within 8 months.

My 3 pieces of advice are:

(1) stay positive and train your mind to make the Keto diet your new lifestyle.

(2) Be patient and start fasting with 2 meals a day until you are able to fast longer hours and go for only one meal a day.

(3) In time you will feel the weight loss and fasting will be programmed into your body, and do not let people stop you from getting your body back.
