I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in June 2018 with an A1C of 11.2! In hindsight, that was one of the best things that happened to me. It was the wake-up call I truly needed after years of abusing my body with unhealthy eating habits. My doctor said it will be highly unlikely for me to reverse my diabetes with lifestyle changes alone. She advised me to start taking medication. However, I was determined to do anything I could to reverse my diabetes. I started researching online and found many blogs and videos, including yours, on reversing diabetes through fasting. At first the idea sounded crazy but after watching more videos and documentaries and reading a couple of books, it all started to make sense. I decided to give it a try as my alternative of dying at a young age or having my foot cut off in 10 or 20 years did not seem to be a good one. I started intermittent fasting and later worked up my courage to completed a 14 day water fast. From June to Sep 2018, I lost 50lbs from 180 to 130 – without exercising. I have since adapted a lifestyle of eating one meal a day except when I go on vacation or the days I go out with friends and family. I even started practicing Yoga. I have been transformed in a way I never thought would have been possible. I am a big believer and advocate for fasting as a way to longevity. I have since inspired a lot of my friends, family and customers to start fasting. Thank you for your informative and easy-to-understand YouTube videos. By the way, I have been taking your raw wheat grass wheat juice. It is great!
