From Fat to Fitness

In December last year, I was looking in the mirror at my body after showering. I was utterly disgusted when I saw the very unsexy belly and love handles. I decided to do something about it. I made a vow with my body. I vowed never to let it get that out of shape again! I apologized to myself for the food and drink abuse! So I started on my fitness journey to change my fat into fitness. My starting weight at my journey was around 22o lbs. (I'm 5' 6), age 58. I've heard about the keto diet and I even tried it about a couple of years ago but I wasn't committed at the time so I didn't stick with it. But this time I was committed and was ready to stick with it. I set a goal to reach 190-195 lbs by June 28, 2021. And my goal was to get back in a 34 in waist pants again. I reached my initial weight goal by March this year and my goal to wear 34 in waist pants by May 31st. As of today, I'm at a maintenance weight of 185 lbs. During my fitness goal as a bonus I have reversed my high BP. Since march 2021 I've stopped taking meds. My recent BP reading was 115/78! And a lot of nagging aches and pains have disappeared as well! I owe my fat to fitness success story to doing healthy keto and intermitted fasting! Oh and my determination to reach my goals as well!
