All my life, I have been overweight but after two deliveries, my health went haywire. Life hit hard when I was rushed to ER of what seemed like a heart attack, I felt that night I would die. It wasn't a heart attack luckily and I decided the next morning to change my life for my kids. I quit everything bad for my body. Started eating healthier, drank 64oz water every day without fail, had small meals, less carbs, more protein, and vegetables in my diet. I walked after every meal for 10 mins without fail dedicatedly. No sweets, no juices, no processed food, no junk food, no sodas, no caffeine. For 10 months, I lost my first 43 lbs. I went for my bariatric surgery i.e. Gastric Bypass and lost the remaining. I still continue the same healthy diet. I have eliminated sugar from my diet, replaced with monk fruit sweetener. No cheat days for me. Reduced sodium and fat consumption in my diet too. Started reading labels and follow various nutritionist, health and doctors channels on social media to keep me up to date.
