I was a big girl all my life, but with children a lot of stress in my life I put on the calories. I would lose 10 then gain back 20, this kept up for over 30 plus years. By the time I hit 55, I started having High Blood Pressure, Insulin Resistance, lower back pain, and my last knees hurting. I still kept doing the yoyo weight up then down. My Othro Dr. said I was bone on the bone short version is it progressed over the years to this.

I lost 75 lbs only to have sciatica pain along with the herniated disc caused me eventually go on disability. After about 4 years I'm like ok you've got to be able to take care of yourself. It hadn't gotten where I couldn't stand for 5 minutes or sit straight up for about 10! I joined the Y and started doing water aerobics finally found something I could stick to.

The weight was slowly coming off. COVID happened well the weight came back on quickly!! When I'm stressed and depressed I eat. So, this time after COVID I went to a weight management office and started eating healthier and walking over time. After a year of 67 lbs off 6 months later 47 lbs off I seem to hit a wall lol. I found myself not having pain in my knees and back hardly at all anymore. I'm walking every other day and use weights and resistance bands. I can now mow the yard and clean everywhere no problems no squatting yet need knee replacements. I'm so happy now don't need antidepressants anymore! I'm ready to go-cart riding, horseback riding, and so forth. I'm 63 years old and feel like I'm in my early 50's. I've only been watching Dr. Berg for a little less than a year I'm learning so much from him.
