Changing my Relationship with Myself

Hello Dr. Berg, I am a single parent with two children. I just graduated from College in April 2020. After 2 years of school and transitioning right into the pandemic, I had gained lots of weight. I never weighed myself before so I’m not sure what I weighed before I started school but I would guess I had gained between 30-40lbs and I was also feeling terrible physically. I had some chronic pain issues, self esteem had deteriorated and some chronic acne. I started Intermittent Fasting before I found your content on YouTube. A month in, I discovered your content and it helped streamline my weight loss but it also improved my general health and I no longer suffer from chronic pain. I have more energy and feel my self esteem is returning. The biggest takeaway was your videos on Adrenal Body and starting this journey with reducing stress. I started waking daily and drinking chamomile tea before bed along with other things to help reduce stress. Before, I would try to do really hardcore workouts and had little success and I would quit and feel discouraged. I’m still amazed that I’ve had success with weight loss just with walking. Your content also helps me structure my meal plans and I eat more intentionally in my eating window. I feel incredible and the changes in lifestyle feel attainable and not restrictive. Thank you so much for doing what you do!
