Big Number

Story

By: Diane Murray

Hi Dr. Berg. I love the short lectures. One that I doubted was your talk on potassium. When you said 4700 mg, I said that's a big number. I was living with a chemist Ph.D. MIT drug designer Merck. He said 600mgs. My cardiologist did a calculation on a calculator and said 1500. As soon as I bumped up my intake was closer to 4000, my body drained, heart function improved, and the only abnormal lab number on my tests went away. It's a big number. Hard to come close to would be deadly with supplements. Coconut water is the only thing that easily adds 2000. I drink throughout the day. Think about all the people taking diuretics and blood pressure meds when the just need vegetables and potassium. Keep up the good work. Diane Murray
