Beginning my journey

I started dieting on July sixth, 2021! I was quite used to not eating until noon or sometimes later, so I decided to try fasting with only one meal a day! I stayed on this schedule for the first ten days and went from 174lbs. down to 161 lbs. in two weeks time!! Not necessarily following the keto plan but staying with zero carbs, high fat, and protein as well as drinking ACV and lemon juice along with 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon morning and evening!! To date my weight has stabilized at 159lbs. and I have combatted acid reflux syndrome and am no longer a type two diabetic! I still keep a close watch on my blood sugar readings each day and little to no carbs! Today, I have started towards a 36 hour fast and then onto 48hours!! This is because I don’t feel I’ve yet realized the full benefits of my fasting!! I am 72 years old going on 42 years old!! Thank you Dr. Berg for your tremendous FYI and inspiring stories!!
