Story

Since about one year, I had been following Dr. Berg's YouTube on keto and intermittent fasting. I had been a prediabetic for a long time. When my blood test in spring came back with a number that puts me into diabetes type 2, I knew things need to change now. I had been juicing fruits and made my own kombucha thinking I am helping myself, but I didn't. Sugar /fruits/ honey/chips/potatoes had to be immediately banned. No more late-night snacking. I got 6 planters ready outside my home( I am living in Alaska and partially in the woods, so a garden is not possible) and planted lettuce, kale, etc. Already late in June, I could harvest my greens. I eat a lot, I don't starve myself, I have my choco mousse or instant cake if I must (all keto). From may till the end of Aug 21, I have lost 30 pounds. Last week, I was in Portland, I ate some black berries, plums, grapes from trees on my morning walk. Usually, I don't do that. I have my bulletproof coffee in the morning. I am not rigid, I allow some freedom and I have had my temptations tested with and without success. Even so, I am not always sticking to one meal a day, I have been losing fat. I am really amazed that this keto formula really works. I am fascinated and I am really happy I have found Dr, Berg's motivational talks. I know now, that this is a life style i will keep for the rest of my life. I have still 40 pounds more to loose , I am not in a rush, but i keep on learning and i know i will get there. Thank you Dr Berg.
