stewart Hanson|Aging
By: stewart Hanson
I am turning 66 in September. My weight has been a focus of mine for practically my entire life. I am 5'10 and weigh 165. My wife and I are active people. There is diabetes in my family and as I have aged, I watched carefully. I don't have any issues but I remain careful about my sugar intake. For the past month, I have been following an intermittent fasting program. What I have noticed was not entirely expected. I fast for 16 hours and then consume 1800 to 2000 calories. I don't feel bloated at all, my energy is up. Many of the nagging problems associated with age and past injuries have gotten better. It seems as though the inflammation in my joints is better. However, I have only lost 1 pound. I was hoping to get back my 6 pack abs. Even though there hasn't been a dramatic reduction in weight and appearance, the lack of "feeling bloated" and increased energy level tells me to stick with the program. Respectfully, Stewart Hanson
