Age 68 and thriving!

I guess you could describe me as always being somewhat of a health follower. Not so much of a participant, although I naturally prefer low-carb diet and have preferred it for the most of my life. I'm a HUGE fan of nutrition. It's kind of a hobby.

Long story short, when I discovered Dr. Berg and his videos, I was hooked. I then became hooked on Keto and IF, which I really had never tried before. My husband, until his death in 2013, had done ALL of our grocery shopping and cooking. He was a great cook, but not always very healthy in his selections (Italian-Irishman), I still managed to eat mostly low carb, but not religiously.

Fast forward to a month, ago, when I started Dr. Berg's plan. (A little background: I'm healthy, for the most part, and at my advanced years I am fortunate to be on no prescription meds and have taken quite a few supplements, especially D3, K1, 2 and zinc. COVID convinced me to do even more.) For health, not particularly weight loss, I dove into Dr. Berg's plan and feel absolutely fantastic. Loads of energy (after a week or two) and the bonus is that I've lost about 8 pounds. I could see my toes originally, but my belly has shrunk to almost teenage size, in a matter of weeks. My recipe for ACV is to add MCT oil to it, sea salt, pepper and warm it up, 30 minutes before breaking my fast. Yum! Be a BERG BELIEVER!!
