Hi Dr. Berg, I watched a couple of your videos and listen to your podcast every week. I have read one of your books. Can't find it now. I think I loaned it out. Thank you for the wealth of information you share. I struggled for the last 20 years with weight. I am 49 years old, 6 foot tall white male. On May 6, 2021, I finally had enough of feeling terrible when I weighed in at 275 lbs. I know weigh 240 but this is just the beginning. You see, I have experimented with Paleo, keto, fasting for the past 5 years. Lost 20-30 lbs and went back to my old ways of eating, thereby gaining it all back plus some. Now, I eat OMAD, Every week I food fast at least 24 hours each week. Normally, I stop eating Sunday night, and depending on what my body tells me, I do not eat food until Wednesday evening. Of course I had to work up to that slowly. It gets easier and easier. While I am food fasting I have 2 cups of black coffee every day in the AM. I drink lemon water first thing upon waking up everyday. And I have 1 cup of Roasted Dandelion root tea in the AM and 1 in the PM before bed. When I am eating, I eat good protein, fat and vegetables. I eat brazil nuts, mac nuts, and sometimes pistachios. I have stopped snacking all together. Once a week I indulge but that becomes less and less as I progress. I walk everyday between 30-90 minutes depending on my schedule. My goal weight is 185. I expect to be there sometime next year. Thanks again, Kevin
