With a soft, chewy center and a crust loaded with everything seasoning, these Vegan Everything Bagels deliver big flavor in a simple bake. They’re a fresh-from-the-oven staple that makes every bite worth it.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F / 190 degrees C.
- In large bowl, whisk together 1 cup almond flour, 2 tablespoons coconut flour, 1 teaspoon sea salt, and ½ teaspoon xanthan gum.
- Heat ½ cup filtered water to 110 degrees F / 43 degrees C. Add 2 teaspoons yeast and let stand for 10 minutes. The yeast should bubble or foam, but not mandatory for recipe to work.
- Stir 1 tablespoon chia seed and 1 tablespoon psyllium husk powder into yeast mixture. Let stand one minute to thicken, then whisk.
- Pour thickened yeast-chia mixture into dry ingredients, knead until thick and fully combined. Wet hands if dough is too stick.
- Divide dough into four portions. Press dough into bagel molds.
- Place silicone bagel molds on sheet tray. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
- With spray bottle, mist top of bagels and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning .
- Serve with non-GMO vegan cream cheese and enjoy!
