Ketogenic Mini-Burgers

Ketogenic Mini-Burgers

Ingredients

Keto Rolls 

Ground Beef - 3-6 oz

Cheese - 2 oz.

Lettuce - 2-3 leaves

Safflower Oil - 1 tablespoon

Directions:

Make Keto Rolls ahead of time.  Make into mini-buns.  For this recipe, we made 12 buns and 12 mini-burgers.

Make burgers into same size as buns.

Shape your burgers into desired size.  Salt and pepper the burgers.

Start to get a pan hot over medium-high heat.  Once pan is piping hot, gently add oil.

Place each mini-burger in the hot pan.  The purpose of this step is to get a nice sear on your hamburgers. You get a good sear by making sure that the pan is hot and letting the burger cook for 1-2 minutes without moving it.

Once the burgers get a good sear, flip them over until internal temperature is at least 135 degrees.

Remove burgers and place on paper towel to soak up the grease.  

Cut lettuce and cheese.

Add cheese.  Bake burgers in oven at 350 degrees until the cheese melts.  Cut your buns in half.  Build your burgers!  Enjoy!

These mini-burgers are great for keto kids.  They work great as appetizers for parties!  Use our Keto Rolls as the buns.
