Easy Keto Cheeseburger Casserole – Low-Carb Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb / .45 kg ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup / 236.6 mL onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp / 5 mL burger seasoning 
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp / 5 mL Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 oz / .06 kg cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup / 236.6 mL cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
  • 1 cup /  236.6 mL white cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
  • ½ cup / 118.3 mL heavy whipping cream
  • 1 Tbsp / 15 mL mustard 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 177 degrees C.

  2. Place ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, onion, burger seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste. Using a spatula, break the ground beef into chunks. 

  3. Add Worcestershire sauce and cream cheese. Cook until ground beef is no longer pink and cream cheese has melted.

  4. Remove skillet from heat.

  5. In a medium bowl, combine eggs, ½ cup / 118.3 mL of the shredded cheddar cheese, ½ cup / 118.3 mL of the shredded white cheddar cheese, heavy cream, and mustard.

  6. Oil an 8 x 11-inch baking dish with oil or cooking spray. Pour the ground beef mixture into the dish. 

  7. Drizzle the egg and cheese on top. Combine.

  8. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup / 118.3 mL shredded cheddar and ½ cup / 118.3 mL shredded white cheddar cheese on top.

  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese begins to bubble. 

  10. Cool before serving.
