Golden milk or turmeric milk is a delicious beverage made with something called golden paste. Golden paste contains turmeric, ginger, cardamom, and fresh ground pepper. This combination smells amazing and tastes even better. We’re going to use this golden paste as a base in a nice tea.

Ingredients
1 cup of full-fat coconut cream from a can (or alternative milk of your choice or regular milk)
3 tablespoons of turmeric powder
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of ground cardamom
1/4 - 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
Few drops of Stevia (2 drops per cup) or your choice of alternative sweetener (adjust sweetener to your taste)
6 tablespoons of water
Instructions
Grate on a microplane the ginger and set aside
Heat up coconut milk in a pot slightly
To make golden milk paste, combine 2:1 purified water to turmeric powder in a warm saucepan, add black pepper and cardamom
Mix until a paste, about 1 minute
Add Golden Milk Paste to warm milk on stove and add ginger and stevia
Whisk together until golden and pour into a cup for drinking
Note: You can add frothed coconut milk on top and ground cinnamon or leave it as is!
