Robert Clark's Story
By: Robert Clark
Robert Clark didn’t start keto in order to lose weight. Since high school, he has been interested in the “true human diet” and finding keto piqued his interest in that regard.
Clark experienced severe anxiety and fear after college, causing him to withdraw from others. With this added stress, his kidneys failed. The result was a transplant. He was experimenting with other health programs until he finally heard about Dr. Berg from a friend.
“It is fantastic to have all of Dr. Berg’s YouTube videos,” he said. “With his incredible insight, I am beginning to see how I was influenced by the health of my body.”
Dr. Berg’s information on adrenal fatigue was also of deep interest to Clark as the role of adrenal deficiency became more and more real to him.
“My purpose now is to get enough of a grasp of all of this knowledge to actually conceive of the actual sequence of health decline that bodies appear to follow and their recovery therefrom,” he said. “I suspect and would postulate that, although every case is different, there should be a common thread. I also hypothesize that there is a logical organization of the body that I keenly desire to understand.”
For Clark, the best part about keto is that it wasn’t hard to do. “Nothing is hard in life if you know how,” he said. “Dr. Berg cares enough to find out and show us.”
Since he started keto, Clark has lost 20 pounds (9 kg) and claims he’s improving every day. “You can do something to change your condition, no matter what it is, once you discover that we each are responsible for ourselves and that help exists,” he said.
Favorite Way to Exercise: Walking
Favorite Keto Recipe: “I don't make much special food, but enjoyed chia pudding,” said Clark. “Karen and Dr. Berg are awesome in the kitchen and fun to watch.”
