3 months short of my 80th, I was shocked when my mobile told me that I was obese. My weight had crept up to 90 kg and I thought I normally hover between 82/85. My general health is good. I retired 3 years ago after working in Dubai as an Interior Designer before that in the UK. Fortunately, I met some health-conscious folks in my 30's, an organic farmer and a vegan who warned me of the perils of death food ( junk food ) and the mantra of you are what you eat. Armed with that knowledge and with half an ear to whatever we were being told was bad for us, which seemed to reverse every few years I have been firmly in the everything in moderation camp except fruit which I was a 10 a day man! Until Dr. Berg explained that my belly fat etc. and the tie in insulin/sugar etc. So I convert to Keto and I'm now down to 80kg after 3 months. Cut out my obvious moderate carbs, working on berries only. And because I'm a retiree, my diner to a light breakfast is an easy 16 hour fast. I will see how it goes if I can keep my phone happy and achieve a BMI of 25 before my birthday. Thanks, Dr. Berg, and thanks to the introduction to ACV. Can even get the good stuff in China!
