Low Pulse Rate
By: Brian s Hendrickson
Not much of a story, more of a response to the resting heart rate Youtube video. I am 60 years old male, with a BMI of approximately 23.4. I took a CAC test 3 years ago and scored a zero. My resting pulse rate is 38-42 all the time. My apple watch 'warns' me when the rate drops below 40 more than 10 mins. This is a common nightly occurrence. I used to take statins and was on a path to be put on high blood pressure meds. Until I saw your site 4 years ago and started my own research on my health. Based on your large amount of data and information, I started fasting and keto and was soon on a path to OMAD and low card. Long story short, I dropped 40 lbs, stopped all the meds, and feel better today than I have in 20+ years. Thanks for helping me open my eyes to taking care of myself versus relying on our doctors and the medical system that just seems to push pills instead of understanding root causes. Thanks for all that you do!!! Regards, Brian
