I've struggled with 3 separate eating disorders since I was 16 years old. Binge eating, purging and straight up not eating. I've tried every diet out there including the Apple Diet, The Cabbage Soup Diet, Beyonce's Master Cleanse and even Juicing. I would even come up with my own crazy fad diet where I would only eat off very small plates. I was very confused on what I was doing and I was getting desperate! I knew I had to do something. It wasn't until I came across the Ketogenic Diet did I realize what the problem was. It wasn't the QUANTITY of food I was consuming, it was the food itself. So I made the change, joined some Keto groups, found Dr. Berg and started researching everything I possibly could until the early morning hours. I was obsessed and finally had a glimmer of hope. Within months, I had lost 50lbs and over 70" off my body. I still have a ways to go, and I have fallen and gotten back up many times...but I will never give up on myself and I now frequently pass my knowledge onto those getting started. My goal is to give them the same hope that got when I found this safe haven. Keto isn't just a diet. In fact, it isn't a diet at all. Its a lifestyle, and I don't ever plan on going back.
