I’ve lost 52 lbs in 4 months, about 13 lbs a month

One of the main things I eat is a big salad of about 8 cups of mixed green leafy vegetables sprinkled with nutritional yeast, flaxseed, and some feta cheese, with an avocado with avocado oil and apple cider vinegar! I feel really healthy eating this! I thank Dr. Berg for all his excellent and informative videos concerning Keto and IF. My form of intermittent fasting is alternate-day eating, so essentially I go from, say dinner on Monday night to fasting until breakfast on Wednesday morning and then continuing that pattern. I’ve lost 52 lbs in 4 months, about 13 lbs a month, and have 18 more to go to be able to fit in my Dress Blues by the Marine Corps Birthday on Nov. 10th. My morning fasting blood glucose has dropped from the 120’s to the 70’s-80’s so I’ve been able to completely reverse my pre-diabetes while doing keto/IF. BTW, my brother-in-law is Dr. John Guyton, the son of Dr. Arthur Guyton, who wrote the medical text “Guyton on Physiology” which Dr. Berg frequently quotes from. I always smile when he does so. I knew Dr. Arthur Guyton who was a wonderful man. Also, I will be 69 next month but feel younger and better than I’ve felt in over 20 yrs.
