I’m still alive !
By: Jack T
7 months ago I went to my primary care physician for my annual physical. At that time I was 79 years old, 6-5, and 280 lbs (mostly belly fat). I had my gallbladder removed in 2011 and at that time I started AFIB. I also had a large kidney stone removed in 2015. My blood test 7 months ago showed A1C of 5.8 with a mean blood glucose of 114. My doctor called me pre-diabetic. He had me on statin, metoprolol, levoxl, and eliquis.. I asked him about getting of my meds and he said without them ‘I would die’ !!! Scary. At that time I had never heard of keto but I wanted to do something to get healthy, lose weight and get off my meds. My wife had seen some of Dr Berg’s videos and we decided to give it a try. Since then we have been on healthy keto and I have worked my way to OMAD. I have lost 30 lbs of mostly belly fat and I feel much better. I have some constipation problems and heel pain due to sciatica. (I walk one mile a day on concrete). I have dropped all my meds. I want to continue keto to get healthier and lose another 20 lbs of belly fat. I watch all of your new videos and try to catch up on the older ones. Meanwhile, I’m still alive and I’ll keep you posted. Thank you very much and congratulations on saving 5 million people ! Jack T from Houston Texas.
