I am a new person
By: Catherine
I have always had challenges with my weight, but now I feel completely on track. Thanks to educating myself and making a lifestyle change based on the information I have learned from Dr. Berg and other amazing doctors. My health really started to feel like it was declining. Heavy inflammation, especially after carb meals, pain in my joints, memory issues, stress intolerance, planter fasciitis...the list goes on and on. I am a positive person but found myself feeling very defeated as a ballooned up to 212 pounds. It sucked! I started following a keto/Atkins lifestyle paired with intermittent fasting and the guidance of Dr. Berg and have found that the weight is melting off. Some days I fast until noon and others I fast until dinner time and load myself up with a large salad with goat cheese, a protein and veggies. I am becoming so used to this way of life that there is an ease in it now. I am now around 199 pounds, and my goal is 160. I finally feel confident that I can get there. Let me tell you though that in the few weeks I have been doing this, my planter fasciitis is almost completely gone, my belly has shrunk tremendously, my ability to cope with stress is remarkable and my joy is increasing every day. I no longer look puffy and I am starting to reclaim my memory. It is amazing! A good friend of mine told me recently that I should always remember to eat to live and not live to eat. That is constantly in my head as a mantra to stay on track. Thanks so much, Dr. Berg for all your insightful videos.
