Heart palpitation mystery
By: William Davis
When I was 35, I had a heart attack due to poor diet, stress, and subsequent to the heart attack, I also found out I was type 2 diabetic. For the last 6 years, anxiety was off the charts which also caused me panic attacks. Back in September of last 2020, I noticed my heart was skipping a beat, 20 to 30 times per day. Then I found Dr. Berg on YouTube and started Keto.
The first thing I noticed was that if I took my diabetes medications, I would get hypoglycemic, so I stopped taking the meds. The heart palpitations seemed to stay the same, however. After researching more, I decided to increase electrolyte intake, as low potassium and magnesium can cause palpitations as well. This helped a little bit, but they still occurred. The final solution was when I watched Dr. Berg on YouTube and he mentioned a connection between your gallbladder being congested and heart palpitations. This made sense because my palpitations were also positional (which happened more when sitting on the couch). He recommended purified bile salts for this. Sure enough, my palpitations have subsided almost completely. Thank you Dr. Berg! No more anxiety either!
