Forever grateful to have decided to become healthy for life

I started keto in 2017 while taking all my maintenance/prescribed medications. I did not stop my meds while eating 3 meals a day. Within the first month, I felt I could go on 2 meals, and also unknowingly I also felt I don't need to take any meds. Presently, am no longer taking any medication and am free of illnesses. The 1st thing I did was study Dr. Berg's beginners' video, then shop for foods I need. Since I live in the Philippines, I am able to purchase items only as close to Dr. Berg's. Then I stopped sugars/sugary foods/starchy foods and veggies & drinks, stayed away from processed/junk foods and I see to it that I choose only whole foods.
My Type 2 diabetes is gone, my blood pressure is stabilized, I no longer have anxiety, palpitations/chest pains, inflammation disappeared, GERD cured, no migraine attacks, sleeping like a baby, no snoring, I am strong, energized & feels a lot younger than my age of 68. Plus a lot of benefits coming from keto/IF like Autophagy. I am no baker, but since I'm a sweet tooth person, I followed Karen's recipes and also studied on Youtube (Keto Connect, Headbangers Kitchen, etc.) desserts & foods that are all keto-friendly. I use Stevia/Erythritol for my sweetener. I also do Meal Prepping even to this day as I want to have foods ready when I need them especially when I am super hungry, less I will be grabbing foods that are bad or sinful. I minimize eating out in restaurants (to avoid meals cooked with bad condiments like MSG, sauces, gravy, etc.) and social gatherings to avoid being tempted by bad foods/drinks.
I don't cheat and I follow Dr. Berg's rule on no snacking and I'm currently on OMAD. I consistently do my workouts 4-5 times a week with a day's rest for recovery. Been on all sorts of diets but Keto/IF is my forever WOE for life. By the way, I only follow Dr. Berg's eating plan, been working for me all these years so I see no reason to change to other keto diets. Keto/IF on
