Finally A Diet That Works

I started Keto in Nov. 2021 ( I had just visited my Dr. and weighed 234), so my journey was a bit hit and miss the first 3 weeks, and did not see much of a change, so I watched more of Dr. Berg's videos to tidy up my diet and found information that I really needed to succeed, such as using monk fruit for a sweetener, moving to one meal a day plan (which I thought I could not do, now I can't conceive eating more in a day) and adding a whole lemon smoothie daily these little changes made a big difference.

By the second month, I had lost 10 pounds and stayed there for a few weeks then all of a sudden I weighed myself and saw that I had dropped about 22 lbs. So now I am armed with a new mindset knowing I can do this (also I have done none to very little exercise, not saying that is a good thing, but I had some limitations with my hands so lifting weights was out of the question).

I have been told that the Keto diet is not sustainable and I find that absolutely not true, I eat better now than I have my whole life. So the 1st week in April another Dr. visited and they confirmed I had lost 30lbs.

So the moral of the story is, even a guy like me can stick to this diet and regain my health at 66, I will never go off the Keto diet in fact I have hard-to-eat heavy carbs now in fact not even a desire to... I do love rice though and all I can say is you can make riced cauliflower maybe even taste better.. Anyway that's my story in a nutshell and I am sticking to it !!
