Brandon Wootton's Story
By: Brandon Wootton
Brandon Wootton’s bad food habits begin during his childhood, and because of those he was overweight for years. It was only when he started having kids of his own that he realized he couldn’t continue down this path. He wanted to be a healthy role model for his children.
But he was far from that: “I overate all the time. As I got older, I got bigger,” Wootton explained. “If I kept doing what I was doing, I would probably be dead at 50.” Wootton napped frequently and didn’t want to see his friends. He felt old, sick, and tired.
Things began to change when Wootton decided to go into action to solve his problem. He got into Dr. Berg’s videos after seeing them on Facebook. He learned everything he needed to know to begin his own keto and intermittent fasting journey in February 2018. Since then hehas felt stronger and better every week.
For Wootton, it was tough to completely change his diet and force himself to exercise, but seeing the constant weight loss was a huge motivation. “The weight just fell off!” exclaimed Wootton. “How I felt mentally [also encouraged me not to give up].”
After losing 101 pounds (46 kg), Wootton feels like a whole new man, brimming with happiness and confidence. “I feel like a machine!” he says. “I sleep like a baby at night and have so much energy that I can’t believe it!”
When asked what he’d tell someone reading his story who’s thinking about keto, Wootton had this to say:
“Get on track, don’t make excuses, eat right, exercise. Start and you will have amazing results. It’s that simple,” says Wootton.“No pill or diet will help you. It’s a lifestyle that you are solely responsible to take control of. Be the best version of yourself and live your best life.”
