60+ and 30 lb loss

Three years ago I found out that I had elevated glucose levels. I also had a 35-inch waist on my 5-foot frame. My naturopath encouraged me to try intermittent fasting and a keto diet. After several months of experiments, I learned how to do 24 hours, and 36 hours fasts. I went from 35-inch waist down to 26 inches, weight from 136 to 105, and body fat percentage from 34% to 22%. This took just over a year to achieve. I now do a routine of one day of 24 hours fast, 3 days of autophagy, 2 days of 16:8, and 1 day of normal eating. I have kept all the benefits, including balanced blood glucose, for two years and intend to continue on for the rest of my life. I am now 63 and have been told many times I look like a 43-year-old. My energy is amazing, my sleep is excellent and my immunity is bulletproof! Thanks in part to Dr. Berg's videos. As a Certified Health Coach, I am now sharing my new lifestyle with others.
