What is ketosis?  

Ketosis is a natural state where your body switches from burning sugar to burning fat for fuel. When you keep your carbs low enough, your body produces ketones–an efficient fuel source that supports energy, brain function, and fat loss. 

Do I need to test my ketones?  

You don’t have to. Testing can be helpful at first, but what really matters is how you feel–steady energy, fewer cravings, better focus, and fat loss are all signs you’re on the right track. 

Can I have cheat days on keto? 

Cheat days can really throw you off. Even one high-carb day can spike insulin and kick you out of ketosis, leading to cravings, bloating, and fatigue. Consider a keto-friendly treat instead.

How long can I do keto?

You can follow a healthy version of keto long-term. The key is doing it the right way–with nutrient-rich foods, not just bacon and butter. When done properly, it’s a sustainable lifestyle, not just a short-term diet. 

What are the benefits of keto?  

Keto helps your body burn fat efficiently, but the benefits go beyond weight loss. People often report more energy, better focus, fewer cravings, improved mood, and healthier blood sugar levels. When combined with intermittent fasting, those results can be even more powerful.
