We (my husband and I) started eating keto on and off about 5 years ago. We were both over weight and I had just had our daughter. We knew we needed to make a change. We learned about keto through the book "4 Hour Body" by Tim Ferriss. My husband said we needed to try it and our journey began. We went on and off because being addicted to carbs is like being addicted to cocaine...it is NOT an easy addiction to break. So fast forward 4 years to a little over a year ago when my husband was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. We knew when that happened we HAD to make it stick. So we started eating keto again, but this time we added some extra tools because we knew we needed help. We implemented IF, Pure Therapeutic ketones, and daily exercise. Now I am down over 40 pounds and I've kept it off and my husband is down over 70 pounds and we are controlling his diabetes without medication AND his neuropathy in his lower legs and feet is gone!! Our lives have been forever changed for the better!!
