No Longer Pre-diabetic

For 72 years, I lived on sugar but did exercise to keep from gaining weight. I was "skinny fat." When I found out that my A1c was 5.9, I decided not to be like my father, who was diabetic and gave himself insulin injections. I started watching Dr. Berg's videos on the keto diet and became convinced to try it. That was three years ago. My A1c was 5.0 last year, and my next yearly exam is in October. Although my cholesterol went from 149 to 206, my doctor said that he isn't concerned since I'm eating healthy fats, and my ratio was 2.0 for the past four years. I also watched a video with Dr. DiNicolontonio, who spoke about using 1 1/2 teaspoons of Himalayan pink salt, mentioning dizziness, poor nutrient absorption, and osteoporosis, all of which I had. Four days later after using 1 1/2-2 teaspoons a day, the dizziness disappeared. I'm hoping that when I go for my next bone density in January of 2022, my osteoporosis will regress into osteopenia. Time will tell, but I am super optimistic. I'm eternally grateful that I've changed my eating habits and am so much healthier than ever.
