Keto/Low carb for cardiovascular health
By: Mauricio Moe Liscano
I have a rare cardiovascular illness called a cavernous angioma in my brainstem, the symptoms are stroke-like and have left me in a wheelchair since about 9 years ago. About 7 months ago, after watching this video from Dr. Berg I decided to go on a permanent low carb diet since all heart and hypertension medication cannot be taken as they are blood thinners or anticoagulants. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rczpsqO40mE&list=LL&index=97&t=5s. About 3 months, I started noticing I could exercise without any negative side effects. I've been doing "mini-workouts" from bed and slowly getting in shape. I've started noticing the beginnings of a six-pack as a side effect of my core strengthening exercises.
