"I’d like to share my story with the members here, as a bit of inspiration and a reminder as to why you should continue with Keto. Back in November 2017 I weighed 110kgs, ate terribly, drank whiskies every night, had serious deficiencies (without realizing it), and suffered from unrelenting migraines that culminated with me being hit with an acute stroke at the age of 32. I lost all vision in my left peripheral when it happened and was lucky enough to get treatment in time, which allowed a good portion of my vision to return and nothing worse to happen. I was left with a lot of blind spots, however, and a slew of chronic medication. I decided to change my lifestyle completely, did my research on what diet was best for neurogenesis - and bam found Keto. Thanks to Dr. Eric Berg and Thomas De Lauer (I’ve watched all their content over and over) I had a firm grounding on healthy keto and intermittent fasting from day one. Fast forward and I’ve lost 26 kgs, kept the weight off. Blood pressure and cholesterol normalized. My vision has almost completely restored, (with the exception of one small blind spot I don’t notice anymore) and my neurologist is weaning me off all my chronic meds - I haven’t had a single migraine since I started keto. I’m definitely the healthiest I’ve been in my life on this diet and lifestyle, and I’m going to continue indefinitely. Remember - it’s not about the weight loss, it’s about the innumerable health benefits and healing the diet does to you along the way. The weight loss is a bonus!"
