I discovered Keto, and it has made all the difference.

In 5 days I am having major major surgery. A complete abdominal reconstruction, muscle transplant bio mesh with a tummy tuck. Two years ago, when the doctor told me the surgery was an option if I could lose 100 pounds I took the challenge. I finally had hope, and hope is a powerful force. With that hope, I researched my best options, signed up for bariatric surgery, and began looking at ways to make sure it was successful I keep the weight off after. What I discovered was everyone puts the weight back on if they don’t change their life. I had The epiphany that it was the change in my life, not the radical surgery that would save me, and if I could do that now, bariatric surgery wasn’t necessary. I discovered Keto, and it has made all the difference. I just took a two-week trip Through the Mediterranean and Europe, I was not able to stay in ketosis because my food options kick me out even though I tried, so I just enjoyed Europe and have managed to take seven of the 12 pounds I gained off in this last week since I got home. I’m 100 pounds down and surgery is on Monday. I’m terrified. I don’t know how I’m going to digest, manage pain, all the rest. If I can’t stay in ketosis for the next couple of weeks, it’s not the end of the world because I’m dedicated and a permanent believer in the benefits and will get back on as soon as I am able. (No, I am NOT pregnant in the photo)
