Here is my Keto journey. I would like to share with you all about my own personal weight loss KETO journey and how I finally shifted from a Carb Based diet to Ketogenic Diet. I have done a calorie-restrictive diet in the past many times but can’t follow it for more than 30 days as I get fed-up very quickly with the boring food choices and lose 4 – 5 kgs which were basically water weight but I didn’t succeed in changing my eating habits as I really missed my yummy food. In December of last year, I was convinced by my friends to start KETOGENIC DIET because they thought I can do it and it will help me cut down excessive weight. At that time my weight was 106 .20 Kgs (234lbs) so I thought let’s try Ketogenic Diet and see what will happen, So from 20th December 2018 I restricted all the Carbs below 20 gm and total cutoff from Sugar and follow as per the guidelines of Ketogenic diet, for the 1st week it was difficult for me as I cannot have my Burgers, Cola’s and Rice, without bread I can live but without rice, it was impossible for me, but I resisted my cravings. After 10 Days I saw my weight drops to 101.30 Kgs (223lbs) and I don’t have any cravings left for Rice, I feel motivated and thought this thing really works! lets to this Ketogenic Diet and set the goal for me i.e 80.00 Kgs (176lbs), But I wanted to achieve my goal by changing my eating habits not that I would like to do it for a certain period and then after achieving it I again switched to the unhealthy version. For the 5 months, I am following KETO with only 3 or 4 times cheat just because of Biryani the only thing I can’t resist till now and I lost a total of 19.20 Kgs (42 lbs approx.) my current weight is 87.12 Kgs (191 lbs) and only 7.00 Kgs (15 lbs) away from my target and I am loving the low carb lifestyle. I am writing all of this because maybe someone can relate to some of my stories. Maybe you have been struggling to lose weight because you are taking the wrong approach. “DON'T BLAME THE BUTTER FOR WHAT THE BREAD DID”
